About Karen Weldon, M.D.
Karen Weldon, M.D. devotes her medical practice to helping women and men overcome symptoms of hormonal imbalance, using a combination of nutritional guidance, pharmaceutical-grade supplements, and natural bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT). Dr. Weldon was trained as an OB/GYN and decided to transition into functional medicine so that she could spend more time with patients and resolve their underlying health issues with a preventive approach, rather than merely treating symptoms.
Education
- Dr. Weldon received her medical degree at the University of South Alabama College of Medicine in June of 1992.
- She completed her Residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville, TN.
- Dr. Weldon has over 20 years of clinical experience and is an active member of the fellowship for Anti-Aging, Regenerative and Functional Medicine and the American Board of Anti-Aging and Regenerative Medicine.
